About Us
BK Ganter Holdings T/A BK Ganter Constructions is a locally owned and operated business. The BK Ganter story started in the eighties with Brad Ganter and some of the original team completing numerous building projects in the CQ Region.
With the building surge in Sydney, the BK Ganter team headed to Sydney in ’98. Within three years of hitting the big smoke, the team were building million dollar residential and commercial designs for numerous national clients including The Mirvac Group, Eden Brae Homes and KDV Homes.

BK Ganter have always been a family owned and run business and with this we moved back to Central Queensland to continue and expand our company into developing land, building houses and units and to build strong relationships with local trades, suppliers and developers. We still hold an office in Sydney and continue our contact with southern suppliers and designers to keep our product exciting and up to date.
The team at BK Ganter Constructions recently took out a trifecta of awards at the 2008 Queensland Master Builders Awards, winning the following categories:
- Low Rise Multi Residential Homes
- Housing for Sloping Sites
- Home Renovation/Remodelling Projects
We are currently looking at ways to improve and diversify our business and building within Queensland by implementing Green Technology. We are looking at safer and cleaner products and procedures to minimise harm to the environment.
We feel that there is still a shortage of qualified tradepersons and we hope to be able to encourage our Sub-contractors to employ and take on apprentices within specified fields to further the building growth of our region.
